Analyte Information	n-ArtinM was obtained from a saline extract of Artocarpus heterophyllus (jackfruit) seeds, purified by affinity chromatography on a d-mannose column, ultradiafiltered against PBS and biotinylated using sulfo-NHS-LC-biotin. ArtinM is a D-mannose-binding lectin that exerts immunomodulatory and regenerative activities through its carbohydrate recognition domain.

Protocol	After blocking arrayed slides with Blocker Casein (Pierce) containing 1% (w/v) bovine serum albumin (Sigma A8577), biotinylated n-ArtinM was assayed at 50 ug/ml. Binding was detected using Alexa Fluor-647-labeled streptavidin from Molecular Probes (1 ug/ml). As diluent the blocker solution was used.
