Analyte Information	Biotinylated simian virus 40 (SV40)-VLPs containing fully assembled VP1 generated from a lysate of SF9 insect cells containing expressed SV40 VP1 and labelled with biotin. VP1 is the major viral capsid protein responsible for virus attachment to host cells and initiation of infection.
Concentration	5 ug/ml
Protocol	After blocking arrayed slides with 3% w/v bovine serum albumin (Sigma A8577) in Hepes buffered saline (5 mM Hepes, pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, biotinylated SV40-VLPs were assayed at 5 ug/ml. Binding was detected using Alexa Fluor-647-labeled streptavidin from Molecular Probes (1 ug/ml). As diluent the blocker solution was used.
Other Comments	Results are from a similar experiment to that published but are not identical (binding score to GM1(Gc) is slightly lower here).
