Export table of microarray binding results into Excel

Users are able to export the result table into an Excel file by Export button in the result view.

If the Analyte information (Sample metadata) and Experiment Design (Experiment metadata) are pre-saved, users can include those metadata in the excel file.

By clicking ‘OK’ button and selecting the file location, the table results are export into Excel file.

The first spread sheet contains the table results.
If a user selected Analyte Information and Experiment Design, the information will be exported in the following spread sheets.

Saving result table after filtering

Users are able to save the result table after filtering by pressing ‘Save as Report’ button.
The table will be saved under ‘Reports’ section in the Project explorer with the user-designated name.

Export metadata in Word and PDF

Users are able to export the experiment protocol and sample metadata into Word and PDF files.

  1. Select (click once) the sample name from the Project Explorer

  2. Go to ‘Tools’ → ‘Experiment Designer’ and select ‘Experiment Design’ to visualise the stored experiment process.

  3. When the experiment design is opened, go to ‘Tools’ → ‘Experiment Designer’ and select ‘Generate Report’

  4. Select the file format and metadata to export
  5. Press OK to generate the report



Export projects

Users can use a project (GR) file to share the raw data and all the related metadata with other CarbArrayART users.

  1. Select ‘Export Project(s)’ from File (top menu bar)
  2. Select the project(s) to export and press ‘Export’ button
  3. Users can change the file save location by clicking ‘Download Here’ button

Import project

Users can use a project (GR) file to share the raw data and all the related metadata with other CarbArrayART users.

By importing a project (GR) file, the users can re-generate the same results (tabulations and charts) in their own computer.

  1. Select ‘Import…’ from File (top menu bar)
  2. Select the project files (.GR documents) by clicking ‘Browse File’ button (Users can select multiple files at once.)

  3. Select the project(s) to import and press ‘Import’ button
